The Indian Albinism Foundation (IAF) is India’s first not-for-profit organization dedicated solely to enhancing the lives of individuals with albinism through targeted support, skill-building, and advocacy. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by people with albinism (PWAs), IAF partners with other NGOs and skill-building organizations to provide skill development opportunities and empower PWAs to access essential resources and services.
Through our ongoing collaborations, IAF has successfully organized 15 skill-building workshops, reaching over 10,000 participants nationwide. Additionally, we have facilitated the issuance of Unique Disability Identification (UDID) cards for 500 PWAs, enabling them to access government benefits and essential support. At IAF, we are committed to fostering an inclusive society where every individual with albinism can thrive, achieve self-sufficiency, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
