Moksh’s Story as an Aspiring Musician

Meet Moksh Mehul Sukhadia, a 17-year-old from Mumbai with a passion for music....

He believes in avoiding negativity, emphasising strongly on independence, and believing that people with albinism can do anything they set their minds to. While there are minor health issues faced by PWAs, he emphasises that several of them have overcome their challenges and are today in various professions, from banking to teaching to advocacy.

Advising people with albinism, Mr. Mittal firstly emphasises the importance of self-love, and not getting demotivated. Over the past few years, he has been a source of inspiration and support to multiple people with albinism. He has conducted over 1000 phone calls with people with albinism and new parents of babies with albinism, providing support and lending a shoulder for them to share their concerns and worries.

He is a solo traveller, having explored almost 40% of North India. He has worked with several companies, trained as a radio jockey, worked as a model, before now running his own business. Talking about the common issue of matrimony faced by people with albinism, he jokes that “he had multiple girlfriends” while so far he has chosen to not get married by personal choice.

In the long run, Mr. Mittal believes that we must adopt a tone of positivity when talking about albinism, providing hope. He does this through his Youtube channel and Instagram page, where he talks about various issues faced by PWAs. His videos are in a mix of Hindi and English, thus being accessible to everyone including those without a significant educational background.
